We were quite lucky to get away with a draw in my opinion. Walker could have been sent off. We had very few shots while city rained many shots on us. We were outplayed and out manourvered in midfield , till pocho changed our formation and added an extra midfielder.
Disappointed with our keeper. Hugo’s distribution was very poor and 2 basic mistakes gifted city a seemingly insermountable lead. But kudos to ur boys. We didn’t give up and kept going, kept believing we can salvage something. The spurs in previous seasons would have collapsed and we would have gotten thrashed. Worried about alder, who seemed to have pulled his hamstring.
Wanyama, rose and ali had good game. Eriksen, Kane, hugo and walker had forgettable games.
If we continue playing with pride and passion, I think we can possibly secure 2nd this season.
Come on your spurs.

When we are playing badly, it’s always Kane and Eriksen being heavily marked. Son came in and changed the game when we needed someone to keep running at the opponents.
That said, Lloris should stop playing those dangerous passes. There’s no need to still stubbornly pass to Alderweireld or Dier when they are surrounded by many oppositions. Sometimes I don’t know what is so difficult to just kick the ball into the opposite half.
But all these negatives aside, we fought back well. There’s a big plus point. If anyone were to tell me we can do a comeback from a 2-0 deficit with Wanyama in defence and Jan and Toby absent beforehand, I would have laugh till I pee in my pants.

I agree totally with u on those irritating backpasses and the passing to put the defenders under undue stress. It’s already become a very bad habit and 2nd nature to lloris n his defenders to keep passing back.
Mayb it’s for the rest of the team to hv a short breather, maybe it’s to keep lloris on his toes…maybe maybe maybe……
Maybe we shld scrap all these backpasses and learn to create e attacking impetus throughout the game to put opponents under pressure instead.
